Shri Nitish Kumar operating under dangerous Rahu Influence!!!

Mr Nitish Kumar, the CM of Bihar State, has decided to part ways with its longest ally BJP as Mr Narendra Modi has been appointed as the chairman of the BJP’s Lok Sabha election campaign committee. Mr Kumar says that the split between the allies has come due to Mr Modi and believes that the NDA should have a leader with a clean and secular image.

Let’s look at what the astrology is indicating about this surprising development in Bihar Politics. 

Nitish Kumar is going through a 18 year long Rahu Mahadasha from Sept 2011 to Sept 2029. Currently he is going through  Ketu Anter in Rahu Mahadasha. The influence of Rahu-Ketu is negative, sudden, mysterious and divisive and which is why he has decided to part ways from NDA at the onset of Ketu Antersha.

As per Sanatan Dharm Shastra's Rahu-Ketu influence is suicidal and which also creates rift and downfall for the one's who go through its period of Mahadasha, Anterdasha or Rashi transits. 

Mr Kumar was born on 1st March 1951 at Bakhtiarpur (Bihar). At the time of his birth Gemini lagna was rising on the eastern horizon and the planetary configuration was as such –  Ketu – Leo, Saturn – Virgo, Moon – Scorpio, Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Rahu – Aquarius and Venus, Mars in Pisces. 

Mr Kumar's lagna is the 8th house from Mr Modi's birth lagna -Scorpio which is not cordial despite both of them have same moon sign-Rashi -Scorpio. 8th House in birth chart is a house of mystery and hindrances. Also Kumar's lagan lord is Mercury while Mr Modi's Mars, Both these planets also have conflicting relationships and hence relationship between  Mr Kumar and Mr Modi may always be of conflicting nature.  


Both Mr Modi and Mr Kumar have powerful stars with many Rajyoga;s present in their birth charts.  Mr Modi has 5 Rajyogas which are likely to help him win the 2014 general election despite Mr Kumar braking away from the alliance.  

Mr Kumar's lagna lord Mercury is beautifully placed in the 9th house along with Sun, Jupiter and also Rahu, creating Raj Yoga for him. However,  Rahu's influence is not good and make him cunning, deceptive, over ambitious and arrogant. The 9th house deals with Dharma, Luck and placement of even one planet is considered very auspicious and in his case the combination of planets makes it a very strong one. But placement of Rahu in this house makes him uninterested in Dharma and thats why he seeks to build a secular image for himself.  

On the other hand , Mr Modi has his Jupiter in Kendra (4th House) which is why he is a stanch Hindu and wants an image of such a leader  and this will help him greatly in elections.

For Nitish the placement of exalted Venus and Mars in the 10th house is very good for attaining power. Mars generates a lot of energy in this action house and the person is remembered for his hard work. 

However, Saturn  in Mr Kumar chart has occupied the 4th house which creates awkward situations from time to time. Also, placement of debilitated Moon in the 6th house is not good because the house deals with Debt, disease, enemy, competitor or opponents which will keep him shifting sides, confusion, vulnerable and trouble him time to time.
